SeaBritain 2005 is a diverse programme of exciting events and festivals celebrating our maritime heritage and the many ways in which the sea touches all of our lives. It is nationwide celebration of our nation's love for and fascination with the sea.
Inspired by the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, events are taking place all over the country, and Portishead, Portbury and Pill are not to be left out. A full schedule of activities is developing that fills every week throughout the summer, culminating on Trafalgar Day, the 21st of October 2005.
With the tremendous amount of support and sponsorship that is pouring in, and with our close ties to maritime Britain, SeaBritain will easily become an annual local tradition.
There is an exciting summer in store for us with fun for the whole family, and Porti.info will strive to keep you in the picture.
